Traditional character houses are so wonderful to work with and this little colonial cottage had so much character – but not enough light!  We opened the back of this house up to a new deck, turned a sunroom into separate bedrooms, flooded an internal bedroom with light through a skylight and added a stylish new kitchen.  Plus, we concealed a new laundry on the deck and landscaped the backyard, giving this family so much more room to play!
